As he has done each year for more than a decade, Congressman Gerry Connolly will share his love of reading with Northern Virginia elementary school students as part of the annual Read Across America Day.

This year Connolly will join elementary students at McAuliffe Elementary School in Woodbridge on March 1 at 1:30 pm and read the book “Green Eggs and Ham” by Dr. Seuss.  The National Education Association’s annual Read Across America Day is timed to coincide with Dr. Seuss’ birthday.

Congressman Connolly is an avid reader who consumes an average of two books per week and enjoys sharing the fun and value of reading with young people.
