Congressman Gerry Connolly (D-VA), the Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Government Operations, released the following statement:
“We are all in and headed to Caucus. I thank my colleagues for their outpouring of support. We have a strong case, broad support, and a demonstrated record of taking the fight straight to Republicans. The Caucus should decide on the direction the Oversight Committee will take. I offer a tested leader, a results-oriented workhorse, and a bulldog in taking on the extreme Republicans. That’s the choice I will offer the Caucus next week.” |
