Connolly Statement on President Biden's Decision to Replace Bloom and Barger from USPS Board of Governors

Washington, November 19, 2021

Congressman Gerry Connolly, Chairman of the House Government Operations subcommittee, released the following statement after President Biden announced he will not re-nominate USPS Board of Governor Chairman Ron Bloom and Governor John Barger.

“I am tickled pink that two DeJoy enablers have been replaced and thank President Biden for his leadership. This action is a good thing for the Postal Service and, most importantly, a great thing for the American people.”
